Product Description
The name is derived from its lemon-yellow colour. Most commercial citrines are heat-treated amethysts or smoky quartz – all heat-treated stones have a red tint. The natural citrines are mostly a pale yellow. Natural citrine is rare. Deposits are found in Brazil, Malagasy Republic, the USA, Spain, Russia, France and Scotland.
