Although some restrictions in some places have been lifted, we continue to run with a booking system for visiting the museum, for the foreseeable future. This not only protects our staff, and you, but means that we can continue to run the museum efficiently and cost effectively with the limited people resource we have. This does mean that during busy holiday times and particularly wet days, we can be full and it is sometimes necessary to turn non-booked customers away. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and would urge you to book ahead, particularly during these times, to avoid any disappointment.
We are also required to take your name and phone number for track and trace procedures.
We are most grateful to all our customers for your understanding and your continued support.
There are two daily sessions – 10am until 12.30pm and 1.30pm until 4.00pm. Tickets cost £5 each (ie Adults, Children and Concessions (babes in arms are free). Valid Season Ticket Holders should call 01671 820357 during opening hours.
We also respectfully remind you that, in Scotland, the wearing of face masks indoors is still mandatory.
We do not take bookings for the tearoom – but please feel free to give us a call if you want to check how busy we are (01671 820357).
